Quality Manager

About the role:  
The profile we are looking for will report directly to LELIT's Chief Operation Officer and will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems in support of customers, suppliers and employees. 
The new resource will be responsible for leading, ensuring and managing all quality control activities of the production process and the finished product, as well as verifying that raw materials, processes and products meet the set standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage non-conformity reports from customers and suppliers and implement corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve product quality;   
  • Update the complaints/non-conformity management system and provide documentation to support the management of quality issues;  
  • Oversee the management of certifications for entering new markets;  
  • Oversee the management of product certifications (CB and existing ETL);  
  • Define and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company certifications;  
  • Maintaining and drafting ISO 9001:2015 certification; 
  • Organize and be the auditors' point of contact for product and system certifications;  
  • Defining quality standards, KPIs and strategic objectives with management and the relevant bodies;  
  • Ensure compliance and respect of the quality management system by all personnel;  
  • Verify the correct use by operators of the tools made available for the verification of quality standards;  
  • Maintain communication and monitor quality performance with all Group plants;   
  • Implement procedures to improve internal flows;  
  • Keeping abreast of developments in quality standard verification and control techniques;  
  • Defining the annual BDG in collaboration with the COO.  

We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who Have:  

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in management engineering or equivalent;  
  • Extensive knowledge of product certifications (CB Report, ETL, CE marking, certifications related to non-EU countries, FCM, REACH, ROHS, etc.);
  • Knowledge of the standards governing ISO9001:2015;  
  • Ability to handle internal audits and interactions with regulatory authorities;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;  
  • Good leadership and effective communication skills;  
  • At least 5 years' experience in the role;  
  • Fluent written and oral English (B2 or similar) and Italian mother tongue level.
